About me
Living in Zurich, Switzerland
Rowing since 2022
I feel most alive outdoors—whether in the mountains, at sea, in a forest or a desert. Nature’s beauty and the interaction of ecosystems constantly inspire me and remind me how much there is to discover. To me, the natural world is one big playground, waiting to be explored.
I love being active in all kinds of ways—running, rock climbing, hiking, ski touring, mountaineering, surfing, and most recently, rowing. The more variety, the better! While I enjoy solitude as an introvert, I believe that joy grows and pain lessens when shared. True connection is what makes life richer. That’s why this project means so much to me—not only as a physical challenge, but as a shared journey with our rowing crew, land team, and everyone who supports us along the way.
What motivates me
I believe in the power of stepping outside your comfort zone to grow. Learning new things—even when they feel intimidating—can be incredibly rewarding, especially when you achieve something you once thought impossible. What motivates me most is the journey itself: pushing through challenges, growing along the way, and proving to myself that I’m capable of more than I think. As Viktor Frankl said, “What (wo)man actually needs is […] the striving and struggling for a worthwhile goal.”
